PHOTOS: Governor Fashola Gets His PVC
Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola is now eligible to vote in the 2015 general elections, and indeed in subsequent elections, after he successfully collected his Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in his Ward, G3 Unit E002, State Junior Grammar School, Itolo Street, Surulere, Lagos on Sunday, February 8, 2015.
It will be recalled that, two weeks ago, Fashola revealed to All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters at a rally at Ajeromi Ifelodun local government area, that he is yet to get his permanent voters card.
Meanwhile, the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) recently revealed that the careless attitude of some of its staff was the reason why Fashola was not able to collect his permanent voters card before now.
Lagos State workers to enable them collect their PVCs ahead of the postponed elections.
In a related development, Fashola has said he has no personal disagreement with President Goodluck Jonathan, saying his only complaint is the president’s failure to deliver on his pre-2011 election promises made to Nigeria.
